Saxton's Home Bakery bakes delicious, nutritious bread and buns in the south-west of Sheffield. Mick Saxton created his artisan bakery in May 2011 to produce bread of character and taste using his own natural leaven (sourdough culture) and stoneground organic wheat and rye flours. Each bread benefits from a slow initial fermentation that allows wonderful flavours to develop and helps enhance digestibility.

Bread is baked, to order, on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders for bread are needed by 9:00am the day before baking to allow for the long fermentation time.

Bread becomes ready for collection in batches from late afternoon onwards (check exact time when ordering) or delivery can be arranged for addresses close to Stainton Road (Endcliffe/Greystones) in the early evening.
