Handmade bread of character, flavour and goodness

Saxton’s Home Bakery baked delicious, nutritious bread for friends and neighbours in Greystones in the south-west of Sheffield (S11).

Mick Saxton created his artisan bakery in May 2011 to produce bread of character and taste using his own natural leaven (sourdough culture) and stoneground organic wheat and rye flours. Each bread benefited from a slow initial fermentation that allowed wonderful flavours to develop and help enhance digestibility.
